Melanie has been an AMI trained Montessori Guide for over 20 years, training at the Foundation for Montessori Education in Toronto, Ontario.
Melanie has pursued her passion for working with children with diverse learning needs by training as an Intervenor at the Geneva Centre for Autism, she has obtained certificates from the Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training for working with Preschool and Kindergarten aged children, certification in Self-Reg in Early Childhood Development from the MEHRIT Centers, well as completing the Inclusive Education course at the Montessori Institute of San Diego. In 2022 Melanie deepened her understanding of the Montessori pedagogy by completing the Montessori Core Principles Course at The Montessori Institute of North Texas.
Melanie has witnessed first hand how children with diverse learning needs can thrive in a Montessori classroom with the right support.
